Job summary

Evolito Ltd. is seeking a Principal Technical Specialist in Power Electronics to lead the design, validation and delivery of high‑power electronic systems for aerospace propulsion.

You will shape architecture, drive EMI/EMC integrity and coordinate verification across circuits and subsystems. You will mentor the power electronics team, work with suppliers, and contribute to the safety case and technology roadmap.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven power electronics experience in industry.
• Experience with high voltage/high energy aerospace systems.
• Experience in modelling, simulation and analysis of power devices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the development of power electronic systems, including specification, architecture, circuit design and reviews.
• Develop technology roadmap for power electronics including switching devices and inverters.
• Create design guidelines for power electronics, derating, EMI/EMC and PCB layout.
• Design and validate high‑power inverters for aerospace environments, meeting safety and performance requirements.
• Support testing at circuit, sub‑system and system levels with test specs and reports.
• Contribute to system safety case per ARP4754A/DO‑254 and other standards.
• Mentor the Power Electronics Team and engage with supply chain partners.
• Support academic linkage and university collaboration for MSc/PhD work.
