Stantec is seeking a Principal Process Engineer – Clean Water in the UK to lead delivery on challenging clean water projects and influence treatment solutions. You will work across London, High Wycombe, Reading, Brighton, Southampton or Cambridge, shaping water infrastructure and client relationships.

The role combines technical leadership with career development of junior engineers, driving asset optimisation and resilient water supplies for future demand.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering or related field.
• CEng or IEng or actively pursuing registration.
• Significant experience in clean water process engineering.
• Strong understanding of water treatment processes and design.
• Experience delivering process designs and technical deliverables.
• Ability to take technical ownership of projects.
• Excellent client and team communication.
• Experience mentoring developing engineers.

Responsabilités

• Develop and review clean water process designs, calculations and specifications.
• Evaluate treatment options to improve water quality and asset performance.
• Support upgrades, capacity improvements and asset optimisation.
• Take technical ownership of project deliverables.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical and electrical engineers.
• Support feasibility studies, design reviews and commissioning.
• Build client relationships and contribute to bids.
• Mentor and share knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
