Job summary

Stantec seeks a Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical projects across the full lifecycle, from feasibility to commissioning. You will work with multidisciplinary teams on water and wastewater facilities, pumping stations and process systems to deliver practical, sustainable engineering solutions.

You will mentor engineers, contribute to governance, and collaborate with clients to ensure designs meet the highest standards of quality, safety and sustainability, with a hybrid working

Qualifications

• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (CEng/IEng) or actively working towards.
• Experience delivering detailed mechanical design within the UK water sector.
• Strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment infrastructure.
• Experience leading technical project delivery and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience mentoring and supporting the development of junior engineers.
