Job summary

Social Care Recruitment is seeking a Principal Consultant to join our Leicester city centre team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will run a high-standard 360 desk, win new clients, and build strong relationships with clients and candidates while driving placements and revenue.

You will lead by example, guiding Senior and Recruitment Consultants on your desk and maintaining compliance and quality. A clear path into management as a Managing Consultant awaits the right achiever.

• At least 3 years in agency recruitment with a strong billing record.

Responsibilities

• Run a 360 desk to a high standard, winning new clients and building strong relationships with clients and candidates.
• Be the expert in your sector: advise colleagues and clients, and handle the more complex accounts.
• Be responsible for the Senior Recruitment Consultants and Recruitment Consultants on your desk: guide their work, check calls, candidate management and client work, and help them reach their targets.
• Keep client retention and the quality of placements high.
• Keep compliance and records fully in order, and share what you learn from clients and candidates with the Managing Consultants.

Principal Consultant

Location: Leicester city centre, office based. Full-time, permanent. Pay: £35,000 to £42,000 basic salary, plus uncapped commission.

You'll bring real recruitment experience and the mindset of a top biller to set the standard on a 360 desk, and the people around you will learn from how you work. You'll be responsible for the Senior Recruitment Consultants and Recruitment Consultants on your desk, though it isn't a line management role.
