Woolpit Primary Academy is seeking a caring, patient Teaching Assistant to support pupils to reach their full potential. Working closely with the class teacher, you will help create an inclusive learning environment, support learning, social, emotional and welfare needs, and encourage pupils to engage and develop independence.

The role requires GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent); Teaching Assistant Level 2 or 3 is desirable.

Qualifikationen

• GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent.
• Teaching Assistant qualification Level 2 or 3 desirable.
• Experience with EYFS or primary-aged children preferred.
• Experience supporting children with SEN or EAL is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patience and empathy.

• Support pupils to achieve their full potential.
• Assist the class teacher and support learning, social and welfare needs.
• Encourage pupils to engage and develop independence, interact positively with others, and provide feedback on progress.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCo, pastoral staff, parents and external specialists.
