Job summary

Milk Education is partnering with welcoming primary schools across Sunderland, South Tyneside, Gateshead, North Tyneside and Durham to recruit experienced Teaching Assistants for EYFS to KS2. The role involves 1:1 and small group support, assisting with phonics, literacy and numeracy, and supporting pupils with SEND while promoting positive behaviour.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in a primary school or education setting
• Ability to support pupils with SEND is advantageous
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with their learning and development
• Provide 1:1 and small group support
• Support pupils with SEND and additional needs
• Assist with phonics, literacy and numeracy interventions
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement
• Work closely with teachers and school staff
