Job summary

Milk Education is working with welcoming primary schools across the North East and we're seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

We offer full-time and part-time opportunities, competitive rates of pay and access to CPD through Milk Academy. You'll provide 1:1 and small group support, assist with phonics, literacy and numeracy, and help promote positive behaviour in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in a primary school or education setting.
• Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification desirable.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND advantageous.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with their learning and development.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support.
• Support pupils with SEND and additional needs.
• Assist with phonics, literacy and numeracy interventions.
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement.
• Work closely with teachers and school staff.
