Job summary

Milk Education is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in primary schools across the North East. The roles offer both full-time and part-time hours with competitive rates of pay and fast-track compliance.

You will provide 1:1 and small group support, assist with phonics and literacy, and help promote positive behaviour while working closely with teachers and school staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, young people or adults in a professional setting within the last 5 years.
• Teaching Assistant experience is desirable.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
• Experience supporting SEND pupils is advantageous.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with their learning and development.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support.
• Support pupils with SEND and additional needs.
• Assist with phonics, literacy and numeracy.
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement.
• Work alongside teachers and school staff.
