Job summary

TeacherActive in South Gloucestershire seeks a Primary KS1 Teacher to deliver engaging lessons and manage classrooms across Key Stage 1. The role supports pupils with SEND and involves day-to-day teaching within mainstream primary schools in South Gloucestershire.

The successful candidate will hold QTS, have UK primary teaching experience, and demonstrate a strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum with excellent classroom management and adaptability.

Job Title: Primary KS1 Teacher

Start Date: September
Salary: £145 - £230 per day

TeacherActive are recruiting Primary teachers to be working within mainstream Primary schools in South Gloucestershire.

We are looking to take on a Primary Teacher for day-to-day cover from September, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1/ KS1. The successful Primary Teacher will be expected to deliver engaging lessons, provide effective classroom management and adapt their teaching to support pupils with a range of needs, including SEND.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Primary teaching experience in the UK
• Experience supporting children with SEND
• Sound knowledge of the Primary Curriculum across KS1
• Excellent classroom management
• An adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
