Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Primary KS1 Teacher to work in mainstream Primary schools in South Gloucestershire. This role involves day-to-day cover from September, delivering engaging lessons and maintaining strong classroom management while supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEND.

Ideal candidates will have QTS (ECTs welcome), UK Primary teaching experience, and a sound knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching in UK primary schools
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND
• Strong knowledge of KS1 curriculum
• Excellent classroom management skills

Job Title: Primary KS1 Teacher

Location: South Gloucestershire

Start Date: September

Salary: £145 - £230 per day

TeacherActive are recruiting Primary teachers to be working within mainstream Primary schools in South Gloucestershire.

We are looking to take on a Primary Teacher for day-to-day cover from September, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1/ KS1. The successful Primary Teacher will be expected to deliver engaging lessons, provide effective classroom management and adapt their teaching to support pupils with a range of needs, including SEND.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Primary teaching experience in the UK
• Experience supporting children with SEND
• Sound knowledge of the Primary Curriculum across KS1
• Excellent classroom management
• An adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
