Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd. is seeking Teaching Assistants to join school support teams across Bury and the borough. This Full-time, term-time role offers long-term placements with the potential to become permanent, starting in November.

You will support pupils in class, in small groups and occasionally one-to-one, help children stay focused and engaged, and work with the class teacher to deliver lessons. Prior experience with children is advantageous, with full support provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
• Patient, caring and reliable approach.
• Good communication skills and a team-first attitude.
• Confidence supporting pupils with a range of needs.
• Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn (full support provided).

Responsibilities

Location: Bury, Greater Manchester (schools across the borough)
Pay: 470- 570 per week (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, term time
Contract: Long-term and ongoing roles, with the potential to go permanent
Start date: November
