Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd. is recruiting enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Hull and the Humber area. You will work across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, assisting teachers with classroom activities, small-group work, and targeted pupil support.

Opportunities include day-to-day supply, short-term cover and longer placements with a dedicated consultant. Competitive daily rates and CPD access are provided.

TeacherActive is recruiting dedicated and reliable Primary Teaching Assistants interested in working with Primary Schools across Hull and the wider area.

We also recruit for opportunities across the Humber Bridge in North Lincolnshire, including Scunthorpe, Barton-upon-Humber and nearby areas. If you're happy to travel further for suitable placements, we'd love to hear from you.

We're looking for individuals who are passionate about education and have previous experience supporting children in a school or another relevant setting.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you may be working across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, supporting teachers with classroom activities, working with small groups and providing additional help to pupils who need it.

We recruit for day-to-day supply, short-term cover and longer-term placements, depending on school requirements and your availability.

Whether you're an experienced Primary Teaching Assistant looking for a change or someone with relevant experience hoping to develop your career in education, we'd love to hear from you.

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience supporting primary-aged children in a school or relevant educational setting
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
• Confidence supporting classroom activities and small-group learning
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A patient, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
• An understanding of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
• Experience supporting children with SEND is an advantage but not essential
