Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant in Andover for September 2026. The role offers full-time hours, supporting pupils from Reception through Year 6 and potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

You will work in a primary school setting with a proactive, nurturing approach, delivering 1:1 and classroom support and assisting the class teacher in daily activities. DBS check or willingness to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant qualifications are an advantage.
  • A child only DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
  • Happy to support pupils from Reception – Year 6.

Hours: Monday – Friday
