Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking Primary Teaching Assistants for Maidstone and surrounding areas. Roles include full-time and part-time placements starting September 2026, with flexible short-term, long-term and temp-to-perm contracts.

Pay ranges from £90 to £115 per day based on experience, with weekly PAYE. You will support primary schools by assisting teachers, working with individuals or groups, and helping children including those with SEND.

Qualifications

  • Individuals with experience working with children (schools, childcare, tutoring, youth work, etc.)
  • Graduates exploring a future in education or teacher training
  • People who are adaptable, patient, and genuinely motivated to help children succeed
  • Those with experience supporting SEND (professionally or personally)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
