Education Supply Pool Ltd is seeking a Student Teacher to join their supply roster in Newport and surrounding areas, starting immediately. This PAYE role offers flexible placements across daily supply assignments while you complete your teaching qualification.

The successful candidate will be on course for QTS/PGCE or a BA in Education, have at least 3 months UK teaching experience, and be able to engage pupils and manage behaviours.

Qualifications

• On course to obtain QTS, PGCE or BA in Education.
• Minimum 3 months teaching experience in a UK primary or secondary school.
• Ability to handle challenging behaviour and maintain discipline.
• Plan innovative and creative lessons aligned with Education and Training.

Responsabilités

• Plan innovative and creative lessons with the correct Education and Training.
• Liaise with staff to deliver curriculum and assess pupils.
• Maintain assessment of pupils and monitor progress.
• Inspire and motivate pupils throughout lessons.

Salary: £173.00 a day.

Location: Newport.

Supply work is ideal for those wanting toexperience different schools, for those wanting to retainflexibility around their workand those wanting tosharpen their skills before embarking on a more permanent placement. Holding a Valid UK driver's license would increase opportunities for work

The successful candidate:

• Are you on course to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a PGCE or a BA in Education?
• Have a minimum 3-month experience of teaching within a UK Primary or Secondary School,
• Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and maintain discipline,
• Plan innovative and creative lessons with the correct Education and Training
• Liaise with other staff members to deliver curriculum,Maintain necessary assessment of pupils,
• Be able to inspire and motivate pupils

As a valued member of ESP, you’ll receive:

• A minimum pay rate of at least M1 (Currently £173.00 per day on approval to the new framework),
• A£125recommend a friend scheme
• A variety of daily, short-term, and long-term positions to suit your needs,
• No need for completion of time sheets,
• Pay via PAYE direct through Education Supply Pool and not an umbrella company.
