Job summary

Education Supply Pool is inviting Student Teacher candidates to start immediately in Abertillery and surrounding areas on a supply basis. This role offers flexible opportunities to experience different schools while you complete your teaching qualification.

Holders of a UK driver’s license may find more opportunities. A minimum pay rate of £125 per day is offered, with a range of daily positions to suit your schedule and needs.

Qualifications

• On track to obtain QTS, PGCE or BA in Education.
• Minimum 3 months teaching experience in a UK primary or secondary school.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviour and maintain discipline.
• Plan innovative and creative lessons aligned with Education.
• Collaborate with staff to deliver the curriculum.
• Maintain pupil assessments and progress.
• Inspire and motivate pupils to learn.

Responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum content across assigned classes.
• Assess and track pupil progress and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support school needs.

Job Description:

Are you currently a Student Teacher looking to expand you experience whilst you complete your teaching qualification?

Education Supply Pool is a PAYE Employer recruiting for Student Teacher’s to begin work in Abertillery and their surrounding areas on a supply basis immediately.

Supply work is ideal for those wanting to experience different schools, for those wanting to retain flexibility around their work and those wanting to sharpen their skills before embarking on a more permanent placement.

Holding a Valid UK driver’s license would increase opportunities for work

The successful candidate:

• Are you on course to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a PGCE or a BA in Education?
• Have a minimum 3-month experience of teaching within a UK Primary or Secondary School,
• Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and maintain discipline,
• Plan innovative and creative lessons with the correct Education and Training
• Liaise with other staff members to deliver curriculum,
• Maintain necessary assessment of pupils,
• Be able to inspire and motivate pupils

As a valued member of ESP, you’ll receive:

• A minimum pay rate of at least M1 (Currently £125 per day)
• A £125 recommend a friend scheme
• A variety of daily, short-term, and long-term positions to suit your needs,
• No need for completion of time sheets,
• Pay via PAYE direct through Education Supply Pool and not an umbrella company.
