Job summary

Affinity Partnerships are seeking Qualified Teachers to join several schools in the Keynsham area with immediate start opportunities. We partner with a well-established Multi-Academy Trust to provide guaranteed work for teachers.

Responsibilities include delivering well-planned lessons aligned to the National Curriculum, liaising with parents about pupil progress, and collaborating with Teaching Assistants to raise outcomes. DBS and references are required, with flexible pay schemes available.

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS status in the UK
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service/be willing to put one in process
• Ability to provide references for the last two years

Responsibilities

• To provide well-planned lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Liaise with parents regarding pupils progress and well-being
• Work with Teaching Assistants to support less able pupils to achieve better outcomes
• Assist in the development of the Curriculum
• Be responsible for monitoring, assessing, reporting, recording and evaluation of learning experiences
• Promote opportunities for peer and social interaction to develop confidence, resilience and social skills
• To plan, organise, mark work whilst also attending staff planning meetings
