Job summary

Vision for Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Y5/6 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the TS9 area on a part-time basis, delivering engaging lessons across Years 5 and 6 in line with the KS2 National Curriculum.

You will plan, deliver and assess learning, differentiate for diverse abilities and create a positive and inclusive classroom environment to help pupils progress academically and personally.

Qualifications

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and age-appropriate lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum.
• Teach across Years 5 and 6, adapting lessons to suit different abilities and learning needs.
• Support pupils in developing their literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum knowledge.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Use effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a calm and productive learning environment.
• Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons across the KS2 curriculum, supporting pupils to make strong academic and personal progress. You will be confident working with pupils across Years 5 and 6 and able to adapt your teaching to meet a range of abilities and needs.
