Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd. is seeking a part-time Primary Teacher to join a Year 2 class in Newcastle upon Tyne. The role is a job-share, three days per week (Mon-Wed) with a focus on high-quality teaching and learning.

The successful candidate will hold QTS, have KS1 experience, and be adept at differentiating instruction to meet SEND needs within a collaborative team environment. This is a temporary position with a December 2026–April 2027 window.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching within KS1.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning.
• Excellent understanding of how to support pupils with SEND.

Responsibilities

• Teach KS1 Year 2 for three days a week (Mon-Wed) in a job-share.

£670 - £1,258.55 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

A Primary School situated in Newcastle Upon Tyne are looking to appoint a part-time teacher to join their dedicated team on a job-share basis. The successful teacher will be expected to work three days per week, Monday - Wednesday, within a busy Year 2 classroom. The teacher will work closely with their job-share partner to ensure effective planning and consistent support is provided. The Senior Leadership team are passionate about delivery high-quality teaching and learning and welcome applications from both Early Career and experienced teachers.

Requirements

The desired Teacher will have:

• Experience of teaching within KS1.
• An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• The ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning.
• An excellent understanding of how to support pupils with SEND.
