Premier Education Ltd is recruiting a Primary Teacher for a part-time position in the Oldham area, starting ASAP and continuing until Christmas 2026. The role is 3 days per week, across EYFS to KS2, with planning and delivering lessons in line with the Primary National Curriculum.

You will maintain positive classroom behaviour, assess pupil progress and work closely with teachers, TAs and the school team. Available now with ongoing support from a dedicated Premier Education consultant and weekly

Qualifications

  • QTS is essential.
  • Experience teaching within a UK primary school.
  • Confident teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
  • Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Primary Teacher - 3 Days per Week

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Temporary - Until Christmas 2026

Hours: 3 Days per Week

Pay: Competitive daily rates, paid weekly via our in-house PAYE payroll

Premier Education is recruiting a Primary Teacher for a part-time teaching opportunity at a welcoming primary school in the Oldham area, starting ASAP and continuing until Christmas.

The role is for 3 days per week and will involve teaching across the primary age range, so we are looking for a confident and adaptable teacher who is comfortable working with different year groups from EYFS through to KS2.

This would be an excellent opportunity for an experienced Primary Teacher looking for a regular part-time role for the Autumn Term.

The Role:
  • Teaching 3 days per week
  • Working across different year groups throughout the primary school
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Adapting confidently to different classes and age groups
  • Maintaining positive classroom behaviour and routines
  • Assessing and supporting pupil progress
  • Working closely with class teachers, Teaching Assistants and the wider school team
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
Candidate Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Previous experience teaching within a UK primary school
  • Confidence teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Good knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
  • Flexible, reliable and able to quickly adapt to different year groups
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
