Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Oldham (OL4 1AJ) is seeking a dedicated Primary School Teacher to join a highly regarded primary school on a full-time, permanent basis.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join a highly regarded primary school in Oldham (OL4 1AJ) on a full-time, permanent basis.

The role will involve planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress, and fostering a positive and nurturing classroom environment. A key aspect of this position is supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including delivering targeted interventions and providing 1:1 support for students who require additional assistance to access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress to ensure all students reach their full potential.
  • Differentiate learning activities to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), adapting teaching approaches where required.
  • Deliver targeted interventions and provide 1:1 support sessions for pupils requiring additional assistance.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, parents, and external agencies to support pupil development.
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupils' personal, social, and emotional growth.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold its values and high standards.
The successful candidate will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience teaching within a primary school setting.
  • Be committed to inclusive education and supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.
  • Be confident adapting lessons to meet individual learning requirements.
  • Have excellent communication and classroom management skills.
