Job summary

Premier Education is recruiting enthusiastic primary teachers to work across Tameside, Glossop and surrounding areas. Opportunities include day-to-day supply, short-term cover and longer placements in EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with both full-time and part-time contracts.

Roles vary from flexible day-to-day supply to long-term postings; some long-term roles are paid to scale depending on responsibilities. You will join a supportive team with a focus on safeguarding and DBS checks where required.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent UK-recognised qualification.
  • Recent UK primary-school teaching experience.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour-management skills.
  • A positive, flexible and professional approach.
  • An enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

  • Teach across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
  • Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Follow existing plans or plan and assess work during longer placements.
  • Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom.
  • Work effectively with teaching assistants and school staff.
  • Adapt confidently to different school environments.

Location: Stockport and surrounding areas
Contract: Full-time and part-time, temporary

Pay: £130-£160 per day; some long-term roles are paid to scale
