Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a reliable Primary School Teacher to work across KS1 and KS2 in Huddersfield and surrounding areas. Flexible day-to-day supply with opportunities for longer-term roles is available.

You will deliver lessons aligned with the school curriculum, follow planning where provided, and manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive learning environment even in the absence of the regular teacher.

Qualifications

• QTS required or eligible (ECTs encouraged)
• Experience delivering lessons across KS1/KS2
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
• Ability to adapt to different school environments within Huddersfield

As a Primary School Teacher, you will deliver lessons in line with the school's curriculum, follow planning where provided, manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a positive environment where pupils can continue learning in the absence of their usual teacher.

The successful Primary School Teacher will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) ECTs are encouraged to apply
• Experience working across KS1 and/or KS2
• A strong understanding of the primary curriculum
• Confidence delivering lessons across a range of subjects
• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
• Reliability and the ability to adapt quickly to different school environments
• A commitment to safeguarding and pupil development
