Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Primary School Teacher to cover across Wakefield and surrounding areas. You will deliver pre-planned lessons for daily cover and adapt planning for longer-term roles, working with KS1 and KS2 as needed.

Strong classroom management and safeguarding knowledge are essential. We welcome both experienced teachers and ECTs for day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities with market-leading rates and 24/7 consultant support.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous UK primary school experience
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 and/or KS2 curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Confidence adapting learning for different abilities
• Good safeguarding knowledge
• A positive and adaptable approach

Primary School Teacher

Location: Wakefield & surrounding areas
Start Date: September / ASAP
Salary: £140 £225 per day
Contract: Day-to-Day, Short-Term & Long-Term

TeacherActive is working closely with primary schools across Wakefield and surrounding areas who are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Primary School Teachers for day-to-day, short-term and long-term positions.

We are interested in hearing from experienced teachers and ECTs who can confidently step into different primary school environments and quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

The successful Primary School Teacher may be responsible for:

• Teaching across KS1 and/or KS2
• Delivering pre-planned lessons for day-to-day cover
• Planning and assessing learning for longer-term positions
