Job summary

The Edwin Group is seeking a compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Manchester primary school. You will support learning, development and wellbeing across the primary age range, working closely with class teachers to create engaging experiences.

Experience with SEN/SEND and related needs is preferred. The role offers excellent PAYE weekly pay, a supportive consultant and opportunities for professional development in a collaborative school community.

Qualifications

• Have experience supporting children or young people with SEN, SEND, ASC, ADHD or SEMH needs.
• Be patient, adaptable and nurturing in their approach.
• Have strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Be passionate about supporting pupils to reach their full potential.
• Be able to work effectively as part of a school team.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across the primary age range, working closely with class teachers.
• Help create engaging learning experiences and encourage every child to reach their full potential.
• Promote confidence and independence and contribute to a nurturing classroom environment.
