Job summary

The Edwin Group is seeking a compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Manchester primary school. You will support learning, development and wellbeing across the primary age range, working closely with class teachers to create engaging experiences.

Experience with SEN/SEND and related needs is preferred. The role offers excellent PAYE weekly pay, a supportive consultant and opportunities for professional development in a collaborative school community.

Teaching Assistant (Full-Time, Temporary)

Manchester
£462.80-£550 per week PAYE - salary depending on experience and/or qualifications
Start date: October 2026

The School and Role

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming primary school in Manchester. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing within a positive and inclusive school environment.

Working closely with class teachers, you will support pupils across the primary age range, helping to create engaging learning experiences and encouraging every child to achieve their full potential. You will build positive relationships with pupils, promote confidence and independence, and contribute to a nurturing classroom environment where children can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Requirements
