Job summary

Smile Education is seeking enthusiastic Primary Teachers to support welcoming primary schools across Grimsby and the surrounding areas.

We offer flexible opportunities including day-to-day supply, PPA cover, short-term and long-term roles. Daily pay ranges from £140–£200 PAYE, with a focus on work-life balance and variety in teaching assignments across Grimsby and nearby areas.

Qualifications

• QTS recognised in England.
• Relevant primary teaching experience or recent placements.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to apply for an enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day supply teaching in Grimsby and surrounding areas.
• PPA cover with regular opportunities (1–2 days per week).
• Short-term cover to support schools during staff absences.

What we're looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), recognised in England.
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school, including teaching placements for ECTs.
• A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective classroom management.
• Confidence delivering engaging, inclusive lessons that support pupils of different abilities.
• Ability to adapt to different schools, year groups and teaching requirements.
• A positive, professional and enthusiastic approach.

Essential requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), recognised in England.
• Relevant primary teaching experience or recent teaching placements.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced child workforce DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new DBS.
• Satisfactory professional references and completion of safeguarding checks.
