Job summary

Aspire People in Rugby is seeking a Primary SEND Teacher to join a specialist school. You will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons and support pupils with SEND in a nurturing environment.

Holders of QTS with SEND experience are encouraged to apply. You will join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to safeguarding and pupil development, with a commitment to high-quality education.

Qualifications

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching pupils with SEND, ideally in primary or specialist settings.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and strong behaviour management.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.

  • Assess, monitor and track pupil progress effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, families and external professionals.
  • Develop and implement EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies.
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the academy and ongoing curriculum development.

Here at Aspire People, we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and committed Primary SEND Teacher to join our partner specialist school located in Rugby.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to delivering outstanding education for children with special educational needs and disabilities. You will play a key role in creating a positive, engaging and highly supportive learning environment where every pupil is encouraged to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Pupils at the school have a range of additional needs including autism, communication and interaction difficulties, sensory needs and complex learning needs. We are looking for someone who can adapt learning to meet individual needs while fostering confidence, independence and achievement.

Key Responsibilities
