Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Coventry. You will support pupils with autism and other needs, helping them access learning and build confidence in a nurturing environment.

You will work alongside teachers and specialists to tailor activities, promote emotional wellbeing, and foster inclusive learning. Driving is required to access the school and support the pupils effectively.

Qualifications

• Has experience working with children with SEND, particularly autism.
• Is patient, compassionate and understanding.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Can build positive and trusting relationships with children.
• Is confident working as part of a team while also using their own initiative.
• Is committed to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.
• Must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle.
