Job summary

Northumberland Church of England Academy Trust is inviting applications for an experienced SEND leader to join the Primary Central Leadership Team on a 0.4fte basis. The role focuses on leading inclusive practice and improving outcomes for pupils with SEND.

You will work across primary schools, model effective strategies, co-teach and support staff with a range of SEND needs, including communication, SEMH, and sensory and physical needs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SEND provision in primary schools.
• Ability to collaborate with Headteachers and SENDCOs.
• Committed to inclusive classroom practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead inclusive SEND provision across Trust primary schools.
• Model effective teaching strategies and support staff in classrooms.
• Support schools to develop confidence, consistency and expertise in inclusion.
