Contract: Permanent

Are you an experienced SEND leader who is passionate about improving outcomes for children through excellent classroom practice?

Do you thrive on working alongside teachers and support staff, sharing your expertise, and turning effective SEND strategies into everyday practice?

If so, we would love to hear from you!

The Trust has a unique opportunity for an inspirational and experienced SEND professional to join our Primary Central Leadership Team and play a key role in developing high-quality, inclusive SEND provision across our Trust primary schools.

This is a practical, classroom-facing leadership role. We are looking for someone who enjoys getting alongside pupils and staff, modelling effective practice, and helping schools develop the confidence, consistency, and expertise needed to support every child.

Working across all of our primary schools, you will collaborate closely with Headteachers, teachers, and SENDCOs to strengthen inclusive classroom practice. You will teach, co-teach and model effective strategies, demonstrate adaptive teaching approaches, and provide practical support for pupils with a wide range of SEND needs, including communication and interaction, SEMH, and sensory and physical needs.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine Trust-wide difference to the experiences and outcomes of pupils with SEND, while supporting teachers and support staff to develop their practice and ensure that inclusion is at the heart of everyday teaching.

Why Join Us?

As well as a rewarding career within an established Multi Academy Trust, we offer the following employee benefits -

  • Access to The Nest, our childcare provision in Ashington and Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, offering both paid and free 30-hour places for eligible families.
  • CPD opportunities with support from across the Trust.
  • Gym membership discounts, with reduced rates at Sculpt Ashington and Places Leisure.
  • Eligibility for a Blue Light Card, giving Trust staff exclusive discounts at major retailers including Apple, JD Sports and TUI.
