Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting Primary School Cover Teachers to work across a number of mainstream primary schools throughout Halifax. You will deliver lessons, manage classroom behaviour, follow individual school policies and ensure children continue to receive engaging and effective learning.

Qualifications

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) required.
• Experience within a UK primary school setting.
• Confidence teaching KS1 and/or KS2.
• Effective classroom and behaviour management.
• A strong understanding of safeguarding.
• A reliable, enthusiastic and adaptable approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons and cover teacher absences across primary schools.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Follow individual school policies to ensure consistent learning.
• Ensure children receive engaging and effective learning.

Job Title: Primary School Cover Teacher

Location: Halifax

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £140 - £170 per day

As a Primary School Cover Teacher, you will deliver lessons, manage classroom behaviour, follow individual school policies and ensure children continue to receive engaging and effective learning.

The successful Primary School Cover Teacher will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience within a UK primary school setting
• Confidence teaching KS1 and/or KS2
• Effective classroom and behaviour management
• A strong understanding of safeguarding
• A reliable, enthusiastic and adaptable approach
