Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Primary School Teachers to provide cover across schools in Leeds and the surrounding area. We offer flexible day-to-day and ongoing work to fit around your availability, with opportunities for regular shifts if desired.

To join, you must have QTS, at least six months’ teaching experience, and a solid understanding of the primary curriculum. DBS registered on the Update Service is preferred, and we can assist with the DBS application if needed.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
• At least 6 months' teaching experience.
• A strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
• DBS registered on the Update Service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide cover across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 as needed.
• Follow lesson plans and create a positive learning environment for pupils.

Yorkshire and Humber/ contract / £130 - 200 per day

Location: Leeds and surrounding areas
Role: Primary Cover Teacher

What we're looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

At least 6 months' teaching experience

A strong understanding of the primary curriculum

Confidence teaching across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2

A DBS registered on the Update Service is preferred

If you don't currently have an appropriate DBS, we can help you through the application process

You'll need to be confident stepping into different classrooms, following lesson plans and creating a positive learning environment for pupils.
