Job summary

Empowering Learning is recruiting Teaching Assistants to join school support teams in the Bury area. You'll work across primary settings on long-term placements, supporting pupils in class and in small groups, with the potential to move to permanent roles.

Roles are full-time, term-time, with weekly pay between £470 and £570 based on experience. A consultant will match you to a school that suits your skills, creating a clear pathway into education, special needs, or teacher training.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
• A patient, caring and reliable approach.
• Good communication skills and a team-first attitude.
• Confidence supporting pupils with a range of needs.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn (full support provided).

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in class, in small groups and occasionally one-to-one.

Pay: 470- 570 per week (depending on experience)
