Job summary

Engage Education Ltd is seeking a proactive Behaviour Mentor for a primary school in Burgess Hill. The role involves one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with SEMH, Autism, and other learning needs, helping them access the curriculum.

The successful candidate will work alongside teachers and support staff, build rapport with pupils, and provide feedback to families. A DBS check is required and full induction will be provided.

Qualifications

• Background in fostering or support roles is beneficial.
• Ability to work one-to-one and in small groups.
• DBS check clearance is required before joining.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to maintain engagement and minimise disruptions.
• Provide feedback to teachers and parents about pupil progress.
• Assist pupils with Autism, SEMH, ADHD, and other learning needs.
