Job summary

TeacherActive is partnering with several Leeds primary schools to recruit a dedicated Primary Teacher for KS2 roles. You will deliver engaging lessons across KS2, support SATs preparation and provide targeted interventions to help pupils progress in reading, writing and maths.

Successful candidates will hold QTS, have KS2 experience and a positive, adaptable approach. The role offers flexible day-to-day or long-term opportunities with competitive PAYE rates and ongoing CPD via My-Progression.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of mainstream primary schools based in Leeds, who are looking to appoint a Primary Teacher to support pupils across Key Stage 2 / KS2. The schools are focused on delivering the primary curriculum and helping pupils develop the knowledge, confidence and skills needed to succeed in their learning.

The schools are looking to take on an enthusiastic Primary Teacher for day-to-day or long-term opportunities, with an immediate start available. The successful Primary Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging KS2 lessons, providing targeted SATs preparation and intervention support, and helping pupils develop their skills in reading, writing and Maths.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)

Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 / KS2

Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and SATs assessment requirements

Experience supporting pupils with SATs preparation and targeted interventions

A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
