Job summary

TeacherActive is assisting a mainstream primary school in Harrogate to recruit a dedicated Primary Teacher for KS1 classrooms. The role involves delivering engaging lessons, supporting phonics and guided reading, and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment to help pupils achieve their potential.

The successful candidate will hold QTS (ECTs welcome), have KS1 experience, and bring strong knowledge of the primary curriculum, classroom management skills, and the ability to plan

TeacherActive is proud to be working with mainstream primary schoolS based in Harrogate, who are looking to appoint a Primary Teacher to support pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1. The schools are focused on delivering the primary curriculum and supporting children in developing essential reading, writing and communication skills.

The schools are looking to take on an enthusiastic Primary Teacher for day-to-day or long-term opportunities, with an immediate start available. The successful Primary Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting phonics and guided reading sessions, and maintaining a positive learning environment that encourages pupils to achieve their full potential.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 / KS1
• Strong knowledge of phonics, guided reading and the primary curriculum
• Excellent classroom management skills
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
