Job summary

Milk Education in Nottingham is seeking an Intervention Teacher to join a welcoming primary school on a long-term basis starting in September. You will deliver targeted English and Maths interventions, support pupils below age-related expectations, and work with staff to close learning gaps while promoting wellbeing and inclusive practice.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent and primary teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for KS1/KS2.
• Experience delivering targeted interventions is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Delivering targeted English and Maths interventions across KS1 and KS2
• Supporting pupils below age-related expectations
• Planning and delivering engaging intervention sessions tailored to individual needs
• Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to class teachers and senior leaders
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff to identify learning gaps
• Creating a positive, inclusive learning environment
