Job summary

Milk Education is seeking enthusiastic qualified teachers to fill Primary Maths Intervention roles across South Manchester from September. You will deliver targeted maths support in primary settings, with opportunities for one-to-one, small-group or whole-class delivery in line with pupil needs.

Applicants should have QTS and strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum, with experience in maths interventions and excellent classroom management.

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Maths within a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Experience delivering interventions is desirable.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• ECTs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths interventions for individuals and small groups.
• Support pupils to develop mathematical understanding, confidence and problem-solving skills.
• Identify gaps in learning and adapt teaching to address individual needs.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback.
• Use engaging and practical approaches to make Maths accessible to all learners.
• Work closely with class teachers and wider school staff.
