Job summary

Aspire People Limited is recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants for September 2026 in Lancashire. The role focuses on intervention work to close learning gaps in Reading, Phonics, Maths and Writing, carried out 1:1 and in small groups.

Ideal candidates will have Level 2/3 TA qualifications, recent UK primary school experience and a patient, encouraging approach to support pupil progress and develop confidence.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions in UK primary schools.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum including phonics, reading, writing and maths.
• Patient, encouraging approach and ability to build relationships with pupils.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions.
• Support pupils with reading and comprehension.
• Deliver phonics and early reading support.
• Support maths interventions.
• Help pupils develop writing skills and monitor progress.
