Job summary

Aspire People is seeking qualified Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Manchester. You will assist with phonics, reading and maths, work with individuals and small groups, and help pupils develop positive learning habits in a supportive environment.

Ideal candidates hold a recognised Level 2 qualification with recent UK school experience, and demonstrate strong communication, organisation and safeguarding awareness.

Qualifications

• Qualified Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification.
• Recent UK school experience within the last two years.
• Strong communication, organisation and safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across primary year groups.
• Work with individuals and small groups.
• Assist with phonics, reading, writing and Maths.
• Support classroom routines and positive behaviour.
• Help pupils with additional learning needs access activities.
• Prepare classroom resources and support lesson delivery.
• Communicate effectively with teachers and support staff.
