Primary Intervention & Catch-Up Teaching Assistant
September 2026 Full-Time Long-Term Opportunities Aspire People
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant who particularly enjoys helping pupils close gaps in their learning ?
Aspire People are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants with strong intervention experience to support primary schools from September 2026.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working with pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis , particularly those who need additional support with Reading, Phonics, Maths or Writing.
Rather than simply providing general classroom support, you'll play an important role in helping pupils identify areas for development and build the confidence and skills they need to make progress.
Experience supporting Pupil Premium pupils, SEND or children working below age-related expectations would be particularly beneficial.
If you're a Teaching Assistant who gets genuine satisfaction from seeing pupils make progress and overcome barriers to learning , we'd love to hear from you.
