Job summary

Dringhouses Primary School is seeking an excellent, motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our friendly team. The role involves leading learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, delivering engaging sessions and providing pastoral support for vulnerable pupils.

We value strong relationships, high expectations and a calm, nurturing approach. The post is fixed-term from October 2026 to August 2027, with a view to permanent appointment, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4pm.

• Proven ability to lead engaging learning across the primary range.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupils' welfare.
• Demonstrates high expectations and strong classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-quality learning sessions across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Provide pastoral support for vulnerable pupils.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and families to support learners.
