Job summary

Lambourn C of E Primary School is seeking an exceptional Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join the ambitious Upper Key Stage 2 team. The role is a fixed term contract initially until 31st August 2027, with extension possible and term-time plus 3 INSET days.

The HLTA will inspire children, support excellent teaching, and confidently lead learning when required. Strong KS2 experience and a proactive, adaptable attitude are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Strong experience within Key Stage 2 and a track record of leading learning for whole classes and targeted interventions.
• High expectations for achievement, behaviour and inclusion with an ability to build positive relationships.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and supporting pupils, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead whole-class learning and run effective interventions.
• Support excellent teaching and manage learning when required.
• Build positive relationships with children, colleagues and families.
• Contribute to high standards of behaviour and inclusion across Year 4-6.
