Suttons Wharf Health Centre is seeking a General Practice Assistant to provide hands-on clinical support and strong administrative coordination. The role combines patient care with care pathway management and proactive population health activities.

The successful candidate will support clinicians, manage recalls and searches, and assist with QOF/IIF services within a busy practice that serves ~19,000 patients in a PCN of ~55,000. A training-friendly environment is offered.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a patient-facing or administrative role.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good IT skills.
• Understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding.

Aufgaben

• Provide clinical support including basic observations, phlebotomy, ECGs, and medication-related tasks.
• Coordinate administrative duties: recalls, referrals, patient data, and care pathways.
• Support population health initiatives and NHS health checks.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team and participate in audits and training.
