Job summary

Aviva’s Pet pricing team seeks a Pricing Team Manager to shape and drive the retail pricing strategy across Aviva's Pet brands. You will lead the street pricing strategy, deliver profitable outcomes across channels, and work with a pricing team to translate data into commercial actions.

This role focuses on pricing capability development and customer outcomes within regulatory boundaries. The position requires leadership, strategic thinking, and a track record in margin management, trading

Qualifications

• Strong retail pricing experience, ideally within personal lines insurance.
• Experience implementing and supporting pricing strategies, including margin management, trading performance analysis and optimisation.

Pricing Team Manager (Pet) – Salary c. £70,000

This is a great job for someone who has strong retail pricing experience and enjoys shaping pricing strategy that delivers great outcomes for customers and the business. This role would suit an experienced Pricing Manager or senior pricing professional who is ready to lead a team, influence commercial decision-making and play a key role in the growth of Aviva's Pet business.

A bit about the job:

This is an exciting opportunity to shape and drive the retail pricing strategy for Aviva's Pet brands. You'll lead the street pricing strategy and be accountable for delivering profitable and sustainable pricing outcomes across brands and channels. Working with a dedicated pricing team, you'll use data, insight and innovative pricing techniques to optimise performance, identify opportunities and support the development of compelling customer propositions. You'll also play a key role in developing pricing capability and ensuring all pricing activity delivers good customer outcomes and meets regulatory requirements.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Strong retail pricing experience, ideally within personal lines insurance, with a proven track record of delivering commercial and customer outcomes.
• Experience implementing and supporting pricing strategies, including margin management, trading performance analysis and optimisation.
• Previous experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data and insights into clear business recommendations.
• Experience using pricing models, data analytics and innovative pricing techniques to identify opportunities, risks and performance improvements.

• Starting salary c. £70,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
