Job summary

TST Group’s Heathrow-based GCS Logistics operation seeks a Commercial Pricing Specialist to own the pricing of customer quotations and agreed rates. You will ensure prices are competitive, deliverable and protect margins across the London operation.

Working with the Group Commercial Director and teams across Sales, Transport Planning, Operations and Finance, you will drive pricing accuracy, governance and effective commercial decisions.

Qualifications

• Several years’ experience in commercial transport pricing, quotations or rates environment.
• Exposure to groupage and/or two-man or white-glove delivery pricing is highly advantageous.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with ability to spot discrepancies and calculate costs.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; proficient with Outlook and Word and pricing systems.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements, site surveys and drawings, with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Own incoming quotation and pricing requests for both GCS businesses, prioritising enquiries and responding within agreed service timescales.
• Price transport movements by assessing collection and delivery locations, vehicle requirements, timings, access restrictions and service levels.
• Validate costs with Transport Planners, hauliers, subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive rates.
• Ensure every proposed price is commercially sound, with amendments authorised in line with procedures.
• Maintain records of quotations, assumptions, supplier costs and customer communications.
• Prepare and update customer tariffs, rate cards, contract pricing schedules and customer-specific agreements.
