Job summary

Energia is inviting applications for a Graduate Pricing Analyst programme based in the UK. This two-year fixed-term contract offers hands-on experience in retail energy pricing, data analysis and product development within a fast-paced Pricing Office.

Successful candidates will rotate across trading functions, support pricing strategy development and deliver data-driven commercial insights while advancing their analytical and commercial skills in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum 2.1 degree in a numerate or financially oriented subject (Finance, Economics, CS, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, etc).
• Strong IT skills with MS package proficiency.
• Ability to plan, organise and deliver multiple projects to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support development, analysis and delivery of pricing strategies.
• Contribute to pricing projects across the business and rotate across trading functions as required.
• Translate data insights into actionable commercial decisions.

Our Graduate Pricing Analyst programme offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in retail energy pricing, data analysis, and product development while working within a fast-paced and collaborative Pricing Office. Over this two-year fixed term contract, you will develop valuable commercial and analytical skills, contribute to key business decisions, and gain exposure to a wide range of pricing and operational activities.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with data, and turning insights into action. Your curiosity, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn will be key to your success. Reporting to the Pricing lead analyst, you will play an active role in supporting the development, analysis, and delivery of pricing strategies while contributing to a variety of projects and initiatives across the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for the key duties outlined below. Depending on business requirements, the successful candidates will be required to rotate across various trading functions.

What you'll need

• Obtained a minimum of a 2.1 degree, in a discipline with a high level of numerical or financial content e.g. Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering etc
• Excellent IT skills with a sound working knowledge of MS packages.
• The ability to plan, organise and complete a number of projects or assignments simultaneously and to tight deadlines.
• The ability to pick up complex ideas and learn new skills quickly.
