Job summary

Virgin Active is seeking a Maintenance Team member to operate and maintain a preventative maintenance programme across the whole site, including the building shell and grounds, under the supervision of the line manager. This is a fixed-term, 40-hour-per-week position, with duties spanning compliance, presentation and daily operations.

The role requires a technical City & Guilds Level 2 qualification or equivalent, and involves proactive problem solving, acting as part of the wider club team and

Qualifications

• Technical Level 2 qualification (City & Guilds) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a preventative maintenance programme across the whole site.
• Monitor basic fixtures and fittings to keep the building tidy and in good order.
• Record daily/weekly checks to support smooth site operations.
• Follow Health & Safety policies and report issues promptly.
• Maintain basement, plant rooms, roof and fire exits to company standards.
