Job summary

Nicholas Clarke Associates Ltd is seeking a dedicated Preventative Maintenance Engineer to join the PPM team at our Shropshire site. You will focus on planned maintenance on production line equipment, working within a structured team to ensure reliability and uptime.

The role suits an organised mechanical or electrical engineer with the ability to fault-find, strip and service machinery, while upholding health and safety standards and reporting to the Engineering Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance engineering, mechanical or electrical bias.
• Formal mechanical or electrical qualifications (Level 3+).
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and in a structured environment.

Responsibilities

• Planned Preventative Maintenance on production line machinery.
• Fault finding and repair activities.
• Stripping down of machinery and installing new machinery.
• Maintaining H&S standards during all work.
• Working within a team of PPM Engineers.
• Reporting into the Engineering Supervisor.

Preventative Maintenance Engineer

Telford, Shropshire.

Monday - Thursday (8am - 4.30pm) / Friday (8am - 4.00pm)

As a result of consistent orders and demand for their products, a long established, globally recognised, multi-site manufacturing company has a requirement for a Maintenance Engineer to join their PPM Team.

This role purely focuses on planned preventative maintenance and would suit an engineer looking for a challenging, team focused role where they know what they are coming into on a daily basis. As the role is planned in nature, this would suit an organised and systematic mechanical engineer who enjoys working within a structured team environment.

Role Description

• Planned Preventative Maintenance on production line machinery.
• Fault Finding and repair activities.
• Stripping down of machinery and installing new machinery.
• Keeping H&S at the forefront when all work is conducted.
• Working within a team of PPM Engineers.
• Reporting into the Engineering Supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications

• Maintenance Engineer experience (Mech or Elec Biased).
• Formal Mechanical or Electrical Qualifications (Level 3+).
• Experience of performing Planned Preventative Maintenance.
• Experience of working within a manufacturing environment.Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
